So I saw Pacific Rim last Friday.

I went to see it again in 3D last night.*

Given the chance, I would absolutely go see it again.

THERE ARE TELEPATHIC PILOTS AND BROTHERS AND GUNDAMS AND CHARACTERS WITH OFFICIAL PTSD AND SCIENCEBROS AND JAPANESE AND ALMOST EVERYONE DIES AND THERE IS ALL THE ANGST AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND ALMOST MADE ME CRY. TWICE.

I need ALL THE FIC IN THE WORLD. There is plenty and still more coming, but it is not enough. I WANT MORE BECKET BROTHERS, DAMN IT.

Anyway, the first viewing left me with a desperate need for Fix-It Fic and a plotbunny that I can't leave alone. The second viewing gave me a completely different bunny, but one that I also can't ignore. Ironically, they both branch off of the same idea. So I have a prologue.

The Voice in My Head (Pacific Rim, T)
Author/: Tsukino Akume
Fandom/: Pacific Rim
Characters/: Raleigh Becket, Yancy Becket
Pairings/: None
Rating/: K
Disclaimer/: If I owned it, I'd already be working on the script for a sequel.
Summary/: The voice still lingers, long after he already knows his brother is gone.

** ETA: On a roll! ^_^V

Watashitachi no Kazoku (Pacific Rim, T)
Author/: Tsukino Akume
Fandom/: Pacific Rim
Characters/: Raleigh Becket, Mako Mori, Yancy Becket
Pairings/: None
Rating/: K
Disclaimer/: Still not mine. Damn it.
Summary/: Raleigh can still hear his brother's voice. He just never expected Mako to start talking to him, too - or for Yancy to respond.

* 3D was better. I loved it in 2D, but it was hard to follow the fights at points. 3D seemed to make that easier.
