Whoo! I'll accept that!

They're totally wrong, but whatever.

For anyone interested in what I had analyzed, it's actually the beginnings of a scene that never made it into Promises. I liked it a lot, but I couldn't get it to work. -Sulks-

He found Antonio in the woods near where they'd first seen him morph, perched on a folding chair by the stream with fishing rod in hand. Which was convenient, especially when Jayden flopped down on the ground beside him, turned to bury his face in Antonio's knees, and let out a muffled scream of frustration.

A hand worked its way gently through his hair. "Something bothering you, mi amigo?"

"Our *friends*," he informed Antonio's lap bitterly, "Have decided that I'm repressing my feelings for you."

"If this is what it's like when you're repressed, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when you're open with your feelings."

He swung at him weakly with a fist and missed. "It's not funny," he groused. "You're lucky they're on your side. Emily and Mia have been pushing at me to talk about my feelings. Mike keeps making closet jokes. Kevin tried lecturing me about the Bushido Code and what honesty means for twenty minutes before I threatened to make Mike his training partner for a month and walked out."

"Funny. I would have figured Mia would be the one to push that one."

He lifted his head enough to glare at him.

Antonio gave him one of his bright smiles.

He huffed irritably and reburied his face. "How's your back?" he muttered.
