As to the fic... I've tried to fusion fic Rangers before and while I attain some insight into my characters, I've never actually been comfortable writing it. (I did have one version for MMPR where everyone thinks they're all Alphas, and they're... not and when their identities are revealed there's huge backlash.)
I'm not telling you to write it, and I'm not telling you not to, but if you're not comfortable writing A/B/O but you are still intrigued by the plot, perhaps you should consider a different angle to come from.
